Minister in demand
“Terror boys” on the loose: answers demanded
After it became known that the terror boys from Bruck an der Mur are still at large, the FPÖ wants answers from the Green Minister of Justice. A parliamentary question is waiting to be answered.
The "Krone" report about the two teenagers (15, 16) who wanted to blow up the younger boy's class in Bruck an der Mur caused great outrage. They searched the internet for instructions for explosive devices, sent beheading videos and decorated their profile pictures with IS flags.
Last year, they were sentenced to unconditional prison terms at Leoben Regional Court. However, although the pupil and the motor vehicle apprentice showed no remorse for the acts planned with explosives, they were even granted a reprieve, partly in order to finalize their education.
Dangerous offenders belong behind bars. We confront the Minister of Justice with this mega-scandal.
FPÖ-Nationalrat Hannes Amesbauer
Why was the parole granted?
This is what drives FPÖ National Councillor Hannes Amesbauer up the wall and he is now confronting Green Justice Minister Alma Zadic with a parliamentary question about the "terror boys". Among other things, he would like to know the exact reasons for the suspended sentence, how long it will actually remain in force and whether the convicts have been given instructions for their remaining time in freedom.
Of course, he is also concerned with the issue of "ankle bracelets". Both have applied for this, the older man's application has been finally rejected, the younger man's is still being decided.
