Danced out: cult disco “Mausefalle” goes bankrupt

The well-known discotheque "Mausefalle" is about to close. The operating company Hehn has filed for bankruptcy at the Linz regional court, reported the Alpenländische Kreditorenverband (AKV) and Kreditschutzverband 1870 (KSV) on Wednesday.

The reasons given for the bankruptcy include the death of the boss a few years ago, cost increases and economic problems as a result of the pandemic.

A total of 41 employees and just as many creditors are affected. Liabilities of 935,000 euros are offset by assets of around 255,000 euros. The company is not to be continued as it is not expected to be able to continue as a going concern.
