FPÖ plan in Hollabrunn
New women’s shelter to prevent refugee home
According to the FPÖ, the relocation of the women's shelter in Hollabrunn to a new, renovated building should prevent a refugee home. "After long negotiations, we have now been able to find a sensible solution: We are protecting women and clearly rejecting asylum plans," the plan was presented.
FPÖ asylum councillor Christoph Luisser reacted quickly when he heard about the federal government's plans to accommodate asylum seekers in Hollabrunn. Supported by National Councillor Christian Lausch and city party chairman Michael Sommer, a solution has now been presented to prevent this - but at the same time not just to be a "preventer".
"Our plan prevents the establishment of an asylum center"
That's why they want new accommodation for the city's aging women's shelter: talks have been held with the operators of a possible location for a new site, according to the FPÖ representatives.
The intended plan is as follows: "After completion, the women in need of protection will move with their children from home and abroad," says Sommer and announces that there will also be more space - at least for 60 people.
Provincial Councillor Luisser calls for zero solution for Lower Austria
"A sensible project, because it will help those in need of protection. And we don't need any new asylum homes in Lower Austria," says Provincial Councillor Christoph Luisser in clear words towards the federal government. "This location is also not in the city center, but in the green belt, where the women and their children can find more peace and quiet."
The project and the relocation should be completed this year, according to the FPÖ.
