Housing construction will decline in 2025

After a temporary high, the number of newly built apartments in the province of Salzburg will fall again next year.

Around 1900 apartments will be handed over to new residents in 2024. According to experts, there will only be 1600 residential units in 2025, with Flachgau and the city remaining the frontrunners. This is according to a survey for the Chamber of Commerce. In the recent past, fewer apartments have been built in Salzburg than elsewhere. Vienna and Graz have left the provincial capital behind.
