The whole of Eugendorf is on the upswing

The team from Flachgau is currently going from victory to victory with three teams. The state of fitness of the Salzburg league team was still "desolate" in the fall, but they worked hard in the winter. A trio of coaches can also be credited with a large part of this success.

These spring statistics are impressive. Eugendorf are currently unstoppable in the Salzburg League, celebrating four wins and just one draw in 2024. The 1b team is ten points ahead of SSK in the 2nd class North A and is on the verge of being promoted to the 1st class. The women's team is in third place in the Salzburg women's league and won 5:0 in Leogang at the weekend. "Some things are going really well," says Eugendorf's sporting director Christof Kopleder. According to him, the decisive factor is the coaching trio consisting of Mario Messner, Sadat Hamzic and Christoph Meissnitzer. "They can also take credit for the current successes, they have really made a difference," enthuses Kopleder. "We were in a desolate physical state, but training in the winter brought us a long way forward - also with external help. Now we're in good shape."

Wolfgang Suppan, a coach who knows the club inside out, is on the sidelines with the talented 1b players, who Eugendorf want to keep and develop as much as possible. "The quality of work there is very high," says the sporting director, who is also delighted with the success of the women: "That's great, of course. The women are very well integrated with us."
