Two crimes in Pongau

Burglars broke into hotel safe

Is there a connection between the two crimes? Even two days later, the investigators still have no answer. The fact is: On Saturday night, unknown persons broke into a hotel in Werfen. 

They gained access to the hotel's offices via a window. The burglars broke open an anchored safe and stole several thousand euros in cash.

On the same night, another hotel burglary occurred in Bad Gastein. The perpetrator(s) stole a furniture safe together with cash and cigarettes. The police were able to recover the safe not far from the scene of the crime.
