Worth around 102,000 euros
Men steal high-profile watch of great value
Two as yet unknown men are said to have stolen a wristwatch from a 64-year-old man who was strolling with his partner near a Christmas market at around 10 p.m. on December 10. It was a Patek Philippe 5327R-001 rose gold watch worth around 102,000 euros. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Shortly before the crime, the 64-year-old was in a bar with his partner. They both noticed an unknown man who is said to have been watching them. He is said to have been male, about 25-30 years old and about 170 cm tall. Further: slim, light skin, dark hair, south-eastern type, light jeans, dark blue winter jacket with fur.
It cannot be ruled out that this unknown man from the bar is a contributory offender. When the victim and his partner left the bar, a serious robbery took place in the street a short time later.
Jostled and grabbed by the arm
Two previously unknown men are said to have suddenly bumped into the 64-year-old from behind and grabbed him by the arm. The two men jumped up and down and shouted "Happy New Year" several times. Shortly afterwards, they walked away from the victim.
After a few meters, the 64-year-old noticed that his high-quality wristwatch was missing from his wrist. It was a Patek Philippe 5327R-001 rose gold, worth around 102,000 euros. The man also suffered minor injuries to his hand. The damage was in the six-figure range.
The two suspected perpetrators are described by the police as follows:
- approx. 25 years old, approx. 185 cm tall, slim, brown eyes, black shorter hair, dark parker, dark jeans
- approx. 25 years old, approx. 185 cm tall, slim, glasses, fair skin, black half-length hair, black thinning beard, dark parker, black jeans
