Glawischnig: “Nazi demarcation is too small”

In the current "duel" on krone.tv between Eva Glawischnig and Andreas Mölzer, one of the topics discussed is the recent Academics' Ball at the Hofburg. 

Mölzer: "This is not a networking meeting, but a family get-together. A simple ball where people dance." However, Eva Glawischnig qualifies: "The German-national fraternity members do not completely distance themselves from charged issues." She then makes her statement even clearer: "The fraternities' distance from Nazi history is too small." Mölzer: "No, this demarcation is self-evident."

Glawischnig, alluding to visible wounds on the faces of fraternity members: "Are you only a real man if you slash something on your face?" She also complained: "I have no sympathy for the fact that they (i.e. the fraternities) exclude women."

The two duelists also discuss the tragic death of Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny. Glawischnig: "Navalny was killed in installments." Mölzer, arguing historically: "Russia has an eternally long culture of violence." However, he also mentions a number of political murders triggered by Americans: "Murder is murder. Americans are no different and no better."
