After an attempted bank robbery in Villach: police are looking for the perpetrator with photos from the surveillance camera and are hoping for tips.

Friday, November 8, at exactly 11:19 a.m., a masked man wearing white gloves entered a bank in Villach-Völkendorf. The perpetrator immediately placed a note with a bomb threat and a demand for money on the service desk and at the same time demanded cash in very good German.

To back up his demand, he briefly lifted his outer clothing and showed a dummy bomb taped to his body. After apparently too much time had passed for the perpetrator, he fled without any loot.

Small, well-groomed, with white gloves
The wanted man is described as short: 158 to a maximum of 165 cm. He is probably 22 to 30 years old. He has a dark complexion, a well-groomed appearance and a dark beard. The perpetrator was wearing a dark blue "Champion" brand hooded jacket with a brand emblem on the left sleeve, a gray hooded sweater with a black and red "Jack & Jones" brand print on the chest, dark blue jeans, gray flat lace-up shoes, a black woolen hat, a black tube scarf, a dark backpack with the word "Burton" on it and white textile gloves with black lettering on the backs of the hands.
