Construction fences are gone: life returns to the Rondo

Work is in full swing at the Rondo in the heart of the tourist community of St. Kanzian. Tenants are already moving to the new location

It's important for everyone involved that life returns to the Rondo," says Hannes Jernej, manager of the Mochoritsch Eck. The change of ownership - which only took place last week (we reported) - is going well.

"We are making every effort to ensure that everything here is beautiful again," says owner Helmut Steiner, who bought the area in the heart of the tourist stronghold together with hotelier Bernd Hinteregger. "In three days, the more than 45 parking spaces behind the Rondo will also be open," says Steiner.

The Kaltschütz company is also in the process of setting up equipment such as trampolines, water games etc. to the delight of the children. Steiner: "We are working flat out. The electrics and water are being brought up to scratch and the partially damaged floor has also been renewed." Most of the tenants who ran their restaurants and stores before the fence was closed are returning to the area. Steiner: "We are also in the process of renovating the eight apartments in the building complex."

Hotelier and café-restaurant owner Werner Reichmann: "The heart of Seelach is finally being spruced up again. This is very positive for everyone here."
