FC Pinzgau has found a new coach

Good things take time! After a lengthy search, FC Pinzgau has finally found a new coach. Florian Klausner takes over the reins at the western league club. The 42-year-old has already experienced a lot in his career to date, most recently working in Liechtenstein. 

The Pinzgau team have finally found a successor to Johannes Schützinger. Florian Klausner is to continue on the same path with the Saalfelden team. In his career, he has already been active at Wacker Innsbruck, Düsseldorf, the Red Bull Academy, Nuremberg, Grasshoppers Zurich and most recently in Liechtenstein as Head of Performance. Now he is setting up camp at FC Pinzgau. 

"Sometimes certain things just take time. The position of head coach is of fundamental importance at every soccer club, which is why the decision-making process always needs to be well thought out - quick fixes are not the way to go. With Florian Klausner, we can now present a coach with enormous expertise in soccer, from which we can and will benefit extensively," said the Pinzgau board.

"Formerly in Saalfelden myself"
The new coach is looking forward to his new role: "I used to play soccer in Saalfelden myself. That's why it's even nicer to come back to Austria. I've been in the second tier for a long time now, gained a lot of experience at various clubs and I'm happy to be back in the first tier as a coach. I'm looking forward to my new role and am already full of energy."
