A summer full of stars at Güssing Castle

Under the direction of Andreas Vitásek, artists will light up the starry sky above the breathtaking outdoor backdrop of Güssing Castle in June and July 2024.

After the public dress rehearsal on June 27, Thomas Stipsits, Christof Spörk, Eva Maria Marold, Lukas Resetarits, Andreas Vitásek himself and the band "Die Doppeldecker" will kick off the Kultur Sommer Güssing at the grand opening on June 28.

From Marold to Klenk
On 29 June, Katharina Straßer presents her program "50 Years of Austropop" as a quirky tribute show! In his play "Eiertanz" on July 4, Christoph Spörk takes a witty look at the search for happiness.

On July 11, Eva Maria Marold takes us into the world of music and on July 12, Lukas Resetarits devotes his program "Über Leben" (About Life) to the banality of existence - especially our own.

On 13 July, Andreas Vitasek's new program "Spätlese" (Late Harvest) takes a tart but sweet look at the current issues of our time.

In September 2024, the STARS flare up again at the Ensemble Gerersdorf open-air museum.

Farmer Christian Bachler and "Ökospießer" (= Bobo) Florian Klenk tell stories of anger and friendship, Andreas Vitásek slips into the role of "Herr Karl" by Helmut Qualtinger and Carl Merz, while Wolfram Berger, Wolfgang Puschnig and Jon Sass bring the Kultur Sommer Güssing to a jazzy close under the motto "Jandln - Jazz me if you can".
