Dispute at the Gugl
Subscriptions canceled after sanctions against LASK fans!
The eternal conflicts between the club and its supporters continue to smoulder. Now there are also reactions from fans to the house bans imposed by LASK. Will a possible change of kit supplier also lead to an increase in the club's hitherto exemplary low shirt prices?
In sporting terms, LASK made an exclamation mark with the brilliant 3:1 win against Salzburg - but the sanctions imposed on the "Landstrassler" fan club following the protest actions in Graz are still causing a stir. In a letter to the "Krone", a long-time fan vented his anger: "Due to the club's actions against its own fan scene, many Lasklers are currently canceling their season tickets for the coming season. I'm currently talking about at least 30 people in my circle. In total, that will be a considerable number."
The situation is in a state of flux
The supporter continues: "The situation is as muddled as never before. The club is becoming more and more aggressive against the Landstrass fans and is trying to win over stadium supporters with cheap populism. Siegmund Gruber, for example, was in the catacombs an hour after the final whistle and was busy serving beer. His loyal lackeys never miss an opportunity to point the finger at the fan scene and berate them - not a word is said about the scene's achievements. I'm worried about the future and the stadium experience at LASK."
Does Gruber leak new kit supplier?
In fact, there are many postings on the Austrian Soccerboard fan portal in which fans confirm that they are canceling their subscriptions. At LASK, this must be done by the end of April, otherwise the subscription will be extended by one year. What the supporters are still concerned about: Gruber showed up at the Sky interview on Friday wearing an adidas jacket - more than an indication of the new kit supplier. Will this also increase the price of the jerseys, which LASK has so far kept at an exemplary low 64 euros?
