Marina Hoermanseder:
My blouse is going into the “Taylor Swift Museum”
Austrian designer Marina Hoermanseder has revealed that she has been given a very special honor. A blouse she designed, which Taylor Swift wore in her "You need to calm down", is going to the museum of the billionaire pop titan.
On Sunday, April 7, Hoermanseder will be a guest on Ö3's "Frühstück bei mir". At breakfast in her "Villa Kunterbunt" in Berlin, the Austro designer talks about working with stars such as Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna.
Swift buys everything she has worn in videos
And she tells us that one of her pieces will now even hang in a "Taylor Swift Museum": "Taylor Swift buys all the pieces she has worn in videos for her own archive. In my case, it was a blouse she wore for the video for 'You need to calm down'."
20,000 hate comments answered
Hörmanseder also comments on the hate comments following her recent appearance on "Germany's Next Top Model". Overnight, she received 20,000 emails and comments after the episode, in which there was a discussion between the designer and twins Julian and Luka, who had reacted with amusement to her bear collection.
"It was completely absurd. People wanted me to die. Although no, I shouldn't say people 'wanted'. Because people did say that, but I quickly understood that it was completely meaningless, completely inane. My boyfriend and I answered every single message, every single comment, every single email that night and the nights after. We answered the worst ones most intensively," she says.
The designer also made some of the abuse public on Instagram. You don't have to like her fashion, she wrote to her haters. But it is urgently necessary for them to "stop spreading this hatred on the internet."
Every day is called "Freestyle"
She also talks to Claudia Stöckl about her role as a mother of two, into which she also provides insights via social media: "I show my life, as colorful and chaotic as it is. Every day is called 'Freestyle'. In the meantime, a huge community has formed that lives with me. I would love to be a missionary for power moms".
Ö3-"Frühstück bei mir" - the big interview of the week, personalities in person - every Sunday from 9.00 to 11.00 a.m. on Hitradio Ö3, hosted by Claudia Stöckl.
