Austrias Fitz blossoms as a goal scorer in spring

Austrias Dominik Fitz has been in absolute top form since the league restart and even leads the scoring charts this year with five goals. The 24-year-old still has a contract with the Violets until the summer of 2026, and on Friday Violett will face BW Linz at home in the qualifying group.

Fitz still has a contract with Austria until the summer of 2026, and with a market value of two million euros, he is the most valuable player in the squad alongside Krätzig. If Fitz continues to deliver so strongly, a transfer could follow this summer. "If the right offer comes along, I'll think about it. But I'm not going to make a snap decision just so I can say I'm playing abroad. The club should get something out of the move and I have to feel good about it!"
