Hells Angels man puts fellow inmates in fear

Anyone who encounters the giant from Germany in custody in the Josefstadt prison looks down. He and his biker colleagues are not to be trifled with. His alleged victims are also terrified.  

Two meters tall, well-trained, numerous impressive tattoos: The member of the Hells Angels motorcycle rocker club, which is banned in his home country of Germany, is not someone anyone wants to mess with in prison, as the "Krone" has learned from judicial circles.

Alleged extortion of protection money in a nightclub
The man has been in custody since October 2023. As have other members of the rocker group. The men are accused by the public prosecutor's office of criminal association, extortion, grievous bodily harm and drug trafficking, among other things. The focus is on an alleged extortion of protection money in a nightclub in Upper Austria.

According to the final report, 20 to 30 Hells Angels came to the bar on a late summer evening in September 2023. "If we're not allowed in, we'll make a racket outside," they are said to have threatened.

Victim kicked when he was already unconscious
At around two o'clock in the morning, the group gathered in the area of the disc jockey, who was then brutally beaten up. The manager of the bar, who had previously been surrounded, was then attacked. As the victim lay unconscious on the ground, he is said to have been kicked by at least four Hells Angels.

A witness claims to have heard the German in custody say to the later victim: "Either you pay or we'll keep coming back."

In the police interviews, the victims appear to be very frightened. They can neither deny nor confirm the extortion of protection money. Rather, they have no memory of the incident.

Molotov cocktail once led to a serious fire
The restaurant has been in the spotlight before. In 2014, there was an arson attack with a Molotov cocktail. In the current proceedings, further serious injuries, for example to a member of the hostile Bandidos group, are being investigated.

The client of lawyer Philipp Wolm(www.kw-anwaelte.com), who is feared in the Josefstadt prison, has pleaded not guilty to the charges: "He has a flawless alibi."
