Sunny and mild

Looking forward to the weekend with up to 20 degrees

Just in time for the weekend, the weather throughout Austria is showing its sunny and, above all, very mild side again. Temperatures will rise to up to 20 degrees Celsius. Only a light wind is blowing in the west of the country.

A mix of sunshine and scattered clouds is possible throughout Austria on Friday. It will remain mostly dry. Only from Vorarlberg to western Upper Styria may there be some rain in the late afternoon. The wind will be weak to moderate. Highs during the day will be between twelve and 20 degrees.

Saturday will start very spring-like and sunny. In the afternoon, however, the chance of rain will increase significantly as a disturbance zone moves through Austria from the northwest. Heavy rain showers are expected in the mountains, especially in the north of the Alps. Only in the east will it remain largely dry and mild. Temperatures could reach up to 20 degrees during the course of the day.

Somewhat denser clouds will move across the east of the country on Sunday morning. However, the sun will continue to prevail as the day progresses. The wind will be light to moderate. Early temperatures will be between minus one and plus eight degrees. Between eleven and 18 degrees are expected during the day.

Monday will start mostly changeable. Nevertheless, it could be quite friendly and sunny in places. The wind will be mainly light. Temperatures will climb again in the afternoon to up to 18 degrees.
