Brawl in Schladming
Three Germans kicked into hospital on their skiing vacation!
During après-ski in Schladming (Styria) on Monday evening, a wild brawl broke out between holidaymakers from Denmark and Germany in front of a bar. The Danes are said to have kicked an opponent lying on the ground in the head with ski boots. A 25-year-old man is in custody, three Germans are in hospital with injuries, some of them serious.
Shortly before 8pm, there was initially a verbal altercation outside a pub in the Styrian ski metropolis, which quickly turned violent. A 25-year-old Dane allegedly punched a 36-year-old German in the head several times.
Kicks to the head
But that was obviously not enough for the thug, he also kicked the head of the victim lying on the ground with his ski boot. A 28-year-old countryman is then said to have also kicked the German, who was already seriously injured, as he passed by.
Three German skiers in hospital
The two Danes left the scene without looking after the 36-year-old. The seriously injured man was taken to hospital in Schladming, as were a 24-year-old German and a 37-year-old fellow countryman who had suffered minor injuries.
Dane is in custody
After a manhunt, the 25-year-old suspect was arrested. He was taken to Leoben prison. The 28-year-old and another 25-year-old Dane were released.
