Brazil legend Roberto Carlos has eleven children from seven wives - and is now divorcing his "still" wife Mariana Luccon after 15 years of marriage.

The now 51-year-old was considered one of the best left-backs in the world, became world champion with Brazil in 2002, three times Champions League winner with Real Madrid and four times Spanish champion. As successful as he was as an active footballer, he had little luck with women.

His marriage to Mariana Luccon lasted 15 years, but according to the TV show "Fiesta", a divorce is imminent. Carlos and the 40-year-old physiotherapist married in 2009 and have two children together. Prior to that, six of the Brazilian's relationships had already broken up.

According to media reports from Spain and South America, Carlos is said to have at least eleven children from seven women. In an interview with the "Gazzetta dello Sport", Carlos himself did not know exactly how many. "It's difficult to say how many women I have children by. I have eight children from six or seven different mothers. There was one Mexican, one Hungarian and the rest were Brazilian," said the 51-year-old in 2014. More children have been added since then.

After separation, he sleeps on the Real grounds
As Carlos' parents-in-law live in the ex-footballer's house, he has taken up residence at the Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid, the former club grounds. The left-footed player has acted as an ambassador for the "royals" for years. According to the Daily Mail, Roberto Carlos' fortune is estimated at 160 million euros - which is probably why it will be a few weeks or months before the divorce is finalized....
