She enjoys lying in bed with her husband and children, she writes, and (not unusually for her) gives an almost intimate insight into her private life. But did you recognize the former Olympic ski champion straight away?

That's right, it's Julia Mancuso, giant slalom gold medal winner at the 2006 Games in Turin. The US lady even takes her fans into the family bedroom. "I'm back," she writes at the beginning of a photo showing her in bed with her husband and children. She has taken a break from her cell phone. That did her good. In fact, her most recent permanent post on Facebook dates from September 4. No social media updates for over three weeks - quite unusual for a seven-time World Cup winner.

Don't put your cell phone in the sea!
The cell phone break was fine and she can only recommend it, writes the 40-year-old. "But maybe don't sink your cell phone in the sea, because it wasn't easy to get it out," she admits with a wink that the cell phone break may not have been entirely voluntary.

In the summer, Mancuso became a mother for the third time, at the age of 40. She was so proud to now have an angel girl in the family, she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Apart from the (unusual) three-week social media absence, Mancuso's fans therefore get to see quite a lot of her private life. It's probably back to business as usual now.
