“Ugly action” in the European Championship hit causes a stir

Was it a hoppala or was it actually intentional? A duel between Spain's Nacho and France's Kolo Muani is causing a stir after the European Championship hit. It was an "ugly move" by the Spanish veteran, according to the newspaper "Sport", which has close ties to FC Barcelona.

A wild scene in the eighth minute: Nacho tripped over the leg of Kolo Muani, who was lying on the ground. As he fell, he then pushed the Frenchman's head to the ground. Just unfortunate or malicious intent? Opinions are divided here.

While some fans did not suspect Nacho of any intent, others saw an assault by the Spanish defender. Referee Slavko Vincic acknowledged the foul, but did not give Nacho a card.

Muani goal not enough
Muani was able to play on and scored with his head a little later to give France a 1:0 lead. However, that was not enough - as the Spaniards turned the game around in the end and progressed to the European Championship final with a 2:1 victory.
