Accusations against J.Lo: “Made my ex do it …”

Jennifer Lopez (54) is apparently willing to use any means to achieve her goal. In order to promote a joint film, she is even said to have made an immoral strategy palatable to a co-star. This has now been revealed by the ex-girlfriend of her "The Boy Next Door" film colleague.

J.Lo knows exactly how things work in show business - but in the past she is said to have thrown morals overboard in order to achieve her goal.

Strong accusations against Jennifer Lopez
In 2015, for example, she promoted her thriller "The Boy Next Door". In the erotic film, the artist embodies the single mother and teacher Claire, who is still battered and vulnerable several months after her divorce.

In a weak moment, she gets involved in a one-night stand with her much younger neighbor Noah. For her, it was a one-time thing, but the young man turns out to be a dangerous stalker who is obsessed with Claire. A hot movie to promote in 2015.

"She made my ex do it ..."
And J.Lo knows the best way to do that: She led the press to believe at the time that she and her co-star Ryan Guzman (36) were having a fling. At least that's what the actor's ex claimed. The model Melanie Iglesias (36) told the podcast "No Chaser" that Lopez wanted to maintain the illusion that she and Ryan Guzman were having a romance.

"She made my ex pretend to be single to promote the movie," Melanie Iglesias' accusatory words. And he played along, as he also wanted the movie to get as much publicity as possible. "So they were at after-parties together, holding hands and stuff, to promote it," the model recalled in the podcast.

And the plan worked. At the time, the press naturally wondered whether Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Guzman could also be a couple off camera and wrote about how flirty the two actors were with each other. And for the promo tour, Jennifer Lopez continued to play this game.

J.Lo did not deny rumors
In an interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres at the time, Lopez was directly asked about an affair with her co-star - but didn't really deny the rumor and thus inflated the topic even more. She said in the interview that they had a lot of fun together and that Ryan was funny and a real gentleman.

The presenter asked J.Lo if her colleague didn't have a partner, to which Jennifer replied with an air of pressure: "I think he might have one... I'm not sure. I know he used to have one." And further: "I'm not THAT much a part of his life," Jennifer tried to clarify more badly than well. "Not yet," Ellen countered with a wink, to which Jennifer Lopez said meaningfully, "You never know."

Iglesias was intimidated by the singer
For Ryan Guzman's girlfriend at the time, Melanie Iglesias, the interview was extremely hurtful. "We fucking met. What do you mean you don't know if he had a girlfriend? We met each other. You shook my hand and almost crushed it that time."

Lopez is said to have wanted the model to feel intimidated by her with her authoritative manner. And it obviously worked if Melanie Iglesias only dared to make the story public almost ten years later.
