Lake Ossiach is going car-free today for the 19th time! From 10 am to 3 pm, the roads around the lake belong to cyclists, skaters and runners. You can find all the information in this article.

The car-free days once again herald the start of the official cycling season in Carinthia this year. It starts today, Sunday: the roads around Lake Ossiach belong to all amateur athletes again from 10 am to 3 pm. Lake Wörthersee will follow on April 28.

A varied program and plenty of culinary delights
The 28-kilometre route offers amateur athletes all kinds of highlights. Above all, the lake restaurants provide music as well as food and drink. There is a Biker Village in Bodensdorf at the Casa Mira pizzeria, where the Ossiacher See Musikanten provide a great atmosphere. A bike service station from "Krone" and Bären Bikes is also organized there. Antenne Kärnten and Hirter Bier, on the other hand, invite you to their chill-out area in Ossiach.

The official start of the 19th "Krone" adventure day takes place at 10 am at the information kiosk in Annenheim. However, bikers can join the car-free lake circuit anywhere.

Closures and important information
The Kanzelbahn parking lots are closed. To ensure that the amateur athletes have a clear path, this year a driving ban has also been imposed on motorists and the like in both directions (except for local residents and regular traffic) from the junction of Ossiacher Straße / Ossiacher See Süduferstraße (in Feldkirchen) to the junction with Bleistätter Moorstraße in Steindorf.
