Asian women stabbed to death
Murder of women: Ebadullah just wanted to kill
Five female victims in one day accuse! The worldwide media response to the bloody deeds in Vienna is huge. Shocking: the knife attack in the erotic club was probably planned in cold blood.
This confession makes your blood run cold: Ebadullah A. (27), an asylum seeker from Afghanistan, simply wanted to kill. He hates women and voices told him to kill them. He hid a knife in his jacket on Friday evening, walked into the erotic club Studio in Vienna's Engerthstraße and did as he was "ordered". Kill! As reported, he butchered three women in cold blood - with no regard for casualties.
Two Asian love servants were executed, apparently including the operator of the establishment. "I usually see her every day in the morning," says neighbor Muzaev (32). "But she's been gone since Friday." What has happened in Vienna over the past few days has caused worldwide and media horror. Not only were the three women in the sex club victims of unbelievable hatred, Claudia R. (51) and her 13-year-old daughter Carmina also died. They were strangled and beaten to death with their bare fists. Under suspicion: Christian R. (53), husband and father of the victims. There is no trace of him.
Ebadullah A., on the other hand, is in custody. He speaks calmly, doesn't give a damn about anything - he refuses a defense lawyer.
Victim protection has priority
In an initial statement, Women's Affairs Minister Susanne Raab (ÖVP) expressed her deep dismay at the tragedies: "Austria now has a well-developed violence protection system, but unfortunately not every single case of violence can be prevented, especially if there were no indications beforehand."
Meanwhile, the "Krone" did a fact check on murders of women in the country. With regard to the current tragedies, the domestic criminal investigation department and victim protection have made it clear that not every female murder should automatically be linked to domestic violence.

The fact is that the number of restraining orders (BV) has increased, which is actually a positive development from the point of view of the police. Because it is precisely in these cases that the murder of a woman is subsequently only the "rule" in exceptional cases. Of the 26 homicides in the previous year, only one case was preceded by a ban on entering the premises. In most cases, domestic "killers" strike within the family. A look at the long-term statistics from 2010 to 2020 also explains that the number of domestic "killers" of the male gender naturally predominates.
Murder weapon mostly a stabbing weapon
Statistically speaking, murderers usually use stabbing weapons within the family. However, it is important to note that the total number of homicides per year in Austria is comparatively lower than the EU-wide average. On the other hand, according to a study, experts also see an alarming signal in the sheer number of homicides against women and girls. In relation to the total population, these are on the decline on average in Europe, while they are on the rise in Germany. However, investigators and politicians are powerless against criminal energy, rampages or even "voices in the head".
