Feeling the sand under your feet again - who doesn't long for that again in the cold season? For beach volleyball player Julian Hörl and his new partner Moritz Pristauz, this came true last week.

"We managed the first training sessions well. First of all, it's about finding our rhythm again after the last few weeks of police training and coordinating with each other," explains Hörl from Saalfelden after the first shifts at the familiar national base in Vienna.

National team head coach Martin Olejnak definitely has a lot planned for the duo. The aim is to make their style of play even more dynamic and varied. They will make their competitive debut at the end of March at two Challenger tournaments in Brazil.
