Weather plays spoilsport – Gasser finishes fifth

The weather didn't mean well with the snowboarders' World Cup opener in New Zealand.

After several postponements, the women's and men's slopestyle finals in Cardrona could not be held on Monday (local time) due to the poor conditions. This means that the results of Saturday's qualification are also the final results. For ÖSV star Anna Gasser this means fifth place, youth Olympic champion Hanna Karrer is ranked 16th.

Clemens Millauer finished 46th in the men's qualification.
