The municipality of Henndorf gets a trattoria again

The lack of restaurants was an issue in the election campaign before the municipal elections. But soon pizza will be baked in Henndorf again.

Italian flair is coming to Henndorf this summer. "The pizzeria there closed in December last year. Now we finally have some good news again in terms of gastronomy," says Martin Köllersberger. Not only the new ÖVP mayor is delighted, but also Ali Shyar, the new tenant.

He will run the new Trattoria Cinque Terre together with his wife Zozan. "We've already found staff. Now we're working on the kitchen," the pizza chef told the Krone. He wanted to open at the beginning of August. Because deliveries were delayed, the opening has been postponed until the middle or end of August at the latest.

You don't have to go to Italy for delicious pizza, Ali Shyar advertises on his website. Together with Massi Atabay, he recently ran pizzerias in Obertrum for five years and in Straßwalchen for the past two years. In Henndorf, closed pubs were an issue before the local council elections. The opposition spoke of a "sleeping community". More restaurants are needed again.
