Network expanded
Volkshilfe Kärnten is the new “Kelag social pillar”
The network founded twelve years ago is now being expanded with Volkshilfe Kärnten as a new partner.
Job loss, illness, unforeseen natural disasters - situations in which people often reach their financial limits. Paying energy costs also becomes a problem. Kelag CEO Danny Güthlein: "As a company, we also have a social responsibility. In cooperation with our social partners - Arge Sozial Villach, Caritas Kärnten and Diakonie de La Tour - we have been offering a wide range of low-threshold support measures as part of the 'Kelag Social Pillar' for twelve years."
These include energy consultations, appliance replacements and bridging assistance. At the same time, the company proudly announces: "We are very pleased that Volkshilfe Kärnten will now be the fourth partner to strengthen our network in the future," says Kelag CEO Reinhard Draxler. Since the start of the initiative, around 300 clients a year have been advised on how they can use energy more efficiently. They have also been supported in the purchase of modern, energy-saving appliances.
