The Putz family continues and shoots in Hollywood
Yesterday it was reported that Austria's most famous family had announced its end after 25 years. But on April 1st, nothing is as it seems and clearly this was an April Fool's joke. The Putz family is not thinking of stopping for a long time and is even going one step further.
The Putz family will continue to work for XXXLutz and will continue to flicker across the screens for many years to come. However, it is true that the Putz family flew to Hollywood to shoot a movie and TV commercials for XXXLutz. However, this already happened in mid-February. The film was shot in Hollywood at the famous Hollywood Sign, on the Walk of Fame, on Santa Monica Beach but also in the desert and in Las Vegas.
The Putz family's short film is coming
"Over the next few months, we will be on the screens with the Putz family in their well-known amusing anecdotes. The whole of Austria can look forward to seeing what creative ideas we come up with again. This time in a special ambience and far away from home, the XXXLutz furniture store. Viewers will be able to see whether and how the Putz family likes it in America in 6 TV commercials and their own 20-minute Putz family film," says Thomas Saliger, Head of Marketing at XXXLutz.
The film was shot in just 5 days with an extremely small Austrian team led by director Christopher Schier and producer and cameraman Thomas Kienast. "I don't want to give too much away yet, but there is a special surprise from and in Las Vegas. It was particularly emotional there," says Thomas Saliger.
