Tree felling by helicopter on Kapuzinerberg

The Office for Public Order has announced that trees will be felled by helicopter on the Kapuzinerberg on private land above the accident hospital and the Paschinger Schlössl on Maundy Thursday, March 28, starting in the morning.

The trees in question are diseased and therefore at risk of falling and urgently need to be removed. The work - which was therefore not commissioned by the City of Salzburg - is being carried out by the company Radauer "Trees" and will continue into the afternoon.
