Viennese of the week
“The work is exhausting, but I do it with heart”
One of the most important awards was presented for the first time this week - the award for 24-hour caregivers
For almost eight years, Ingrid Kelemenova (58) has been caring for her client Christian 24 hours a day, for two weeks at a time. The 63-year-old has the highest level of care and needs support in all areas. From lying down to changing diapers to feeding him. An activity that is actually priceless. But Kelemanova puts her heart and soul into it.
It is time to finally show the public what a great service these caregivers provide for society.

"For the first two years, we were like cats and dogs. But I said I had to persevere," says the trained nurse. The two are now inseparable: "I always say that Christian is my karma."
Kelemanova is one of the Viennese winners of the first "Daheim betreut" award, which was created by the Chamber of Commerce's Association for Personal Care. Of the almost 500 entries, 18 winners were honored.
