Pupil tried to escape from police via window

With a keen eye, a team leader at a school in St. Veit noticed on Monday afternoon that an 18-year-old was carrying drugs. Things got chaotic during a check.

The team leader immediately filed a report and a special officer from the St. Veit police station drove to the school. "The 18-year-old was asked to come into a room to clarify the facts. There the officer wanted to establish his identity," reports the police. But this didn't suit the pupil at all - he tried to jump out of the window.

"The officer was able to prevent the escape, but the 18-year-old resisted being stopped by elbowing and kicking him," the police continued. "When the officer restrained him, the pupil resisted violently." The officer was injured in the shoulder area. It took another police patrol to bring the young man to the St. Veit police station.

There, various narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia were seized from the 18-year-old.
