Hohenems invites interested parties to view the buildings

The redesign of the Hohenems town hall quarter is progressing rapidly. The town is now inviting people to view two new properties in Radetzkystrasse.

The town of Hohenems is investing heavily in the redevelopment of its old town - and it's paying off. Two new buildings (Radetzkystrasse 14 and 16) are now nearing completion. To mark the occasion, the municipality is inviting all interested parties to take a tour: on Friday, March 8, between 3 and 6 pm. The tours last around 15 minutes. Business people who are interested in the still vacant rental apartments, office, service or retail space are also welcome. Pre-registration is not required. "Due to the expected interest, however, you have to expect waiting times," explains project developer Markus Schadenbauer.

"With the unveiling of the façade of Radetzkystrasse 14 and 16, another jewel of Hohenems' urban development is coming to light. Things are also progressing rapidly in the town hall quarter," reports Mayor Dieter Egger. The two towers of the town hall are now getting their shells. The timber construction has already started and will be finished in a few weeks. "We are well on schedule and on budget for the town hall. The historically significant Villa Iwan and Franziska Rosenthal with its main use as the Vorarlberg House of Literature, public outdoor spaces, the emerging Hohenems Town Hall and new residential and commercial buildings that meet the highest ecological standards will create an attractive residential and commercial district on 9,800 m² as part of the Hohenems town center," says Egger enthusiastically.

Investment of eight million euros
Around eight million euros have been invested in the current project. The two properties were planned by Bernardo Bader Architekten. They house nine rental apartments, four service units (two of which are still available), a bar and three retail spaces (one of which is still available).
