In a good mood
King Charles appeared in public for the first time since his operation
King Charles III has appeared in public for the first time since his prostate operation last week. The 75-year-old waved cheerfully to photographers as he went for a walk with Queen Camilla (76).
The two attended the service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on Sunday. Charles had an operation for a benign prostate enlargement on January 26 and was discharged just a few days later. The palace said that the monarch would spend some time recovering at home before resuming appointments.
Kate is also feeling better
Meanwhile, the tabloids continue to puzzle over Duchess Kate's condition. Following rumors that the wife of Crown Prince William (41) had been placed in an induced coma, a source from the palace reports that the 42-year-old is already working "from bed" on future appointments.
Kate had to undergo abdominal surgery and was therefore in the London Clinic for almost two weeks. On January 29, the palace finally announced that she had been discharged from hospital and was making "good progress". No further details on her state of health were released. This probably fueled the rumor mill.
