Son (14) attacks his own father with friends
On Wednesday evening in Vienna-Meidling, a 14-year-old boy and his father allegedly came to blows. In the course of the argument, the son's friends suddenly got involved. According to eyewitnesses, a firearm was also allegedly drawn.
The son and his friends - all aged between 13 and 14 - are said to have attacked his 48-year-old father in the middle of Meidlinger Hauptstraße. After passers-by became aware of a suspected firearm, the police managed to stop those involved.
13-year-old had a blank-firing pistol
A blank-firing pistol was immediately discovered and seized from a 13-year-old. Neither the father nor the son were able to give the officers any precise details about the incident. The two men's statements differed both on the question of who had threatened whom with the firearm and the reason for the argument.
"The 48-year-old claimed that his son had stolen from him. The 14-year-old in turn accused his father of beating him," the police announced on Thursday. Both were reported to the police. In addition, the father was banned from entering and approaching the house and a temporary weapons ban was issued.
