Attack with baton and pepper spray

A 23-year-old allegedly attacked a man with a baton and pepper spray in Seitenstettengasse in the first district on Saturday night. The victim was slightly injured and received emergency medical treatment.

During an argument, a 23-year-old allegedly attacked another man with a baton and sprayed him with pepper spray. The police were able to arrest the suspect at the scene and recover the suspected murder weapons.

The 23-year-old was already in the investigators' sights because of an existing weapons ban. The victim suffered minor injuries and received emergency medical treatment at the scene. The suspect will be charged with assault, threatening behavior and violating the Weapons Act, among other things. The background to the crime is currently being investigated further.
